After multiple discussions, we now have a primary speaker for our VPN Workshop! A member of NoVALUG will be traveling down with some other NoVALUGees to deliver and help us out - we are greatly looking forward to this oppurtunity to work with another LUG.

The workshop will occur on the 22nd of April, a Saturday, at 2PM. There will be demo stations set up, and multiple VPN topics covered.

Updates will be posted here, and in the forums as the event develops. Head to the forums to post your thoughts or suggestions on what should be included!

Hey all!

We have implemented a forum system, which can be found via the link on the right sidebar. As activity in the LUUG has increased, the listserv has become more and more utilized. To keep everyone’s inbox’s happy, better organize discussions, and have a little more fun - we’ve decided to move ahead with the forum idea. This should allow for a much larger volume of discussion, and should provide better access for students getting help who perhaps do not want to join the listserv.

Our hope is to move the listserv towards being more adminstrative, and use the forums for all other purposes.

Secondly, we have established vtluug.org e-mail addresses. Updated contact information has been posted on the contact page. vtluugpresident@gmail.com will be phased out - from here on out, for general purpose e-mail, use vtluug@vtluug.org. Also, the DNS issue has resolved, so www.vtluug.org now properly redirects.
Lastly, the comments issue has been resolved. Anyone and everyone is now welcome to post comments on the site, provided you give a name and e-mail address.

Head over to the forums and get registered!

Hey all!

In order to save time and effort, we have migrated to Wordpress’s blog engine. We are still playing around with configuring it and getting everything set up correctly - if you have any suggestions and/or input, feel free to shoot them to vtluugpresident@gmail.com (note that all officers have access to this account).

Keep your eye out for announcements and news!
